Jill Allen presented "Reclaiming Vacant Land: Landscape as Urban Catalyst." at the Congress for Urban Transformation on October 27th, a conference sponsored by Flint Public Art Project .
CONGRESS FOR URBAN TRANSFORMATION (CUT) conference is a week-long gathering of residents, city officials, and visiting artists, architects, planners, and community organizers to exchange ideas, build consensus toward a shared vision, and help reimagine the city. The conference is organized by Flint Public Art Project in collaboration with Mayor Dayne Walling, Chief Planner Megan Hunter, University of Michigan-Flint, Kettering University, and Mott Community College.
